There is an extraordinary power in this spring, because the martyr was slain here. Someone who had been seized by a fever and was about to die wished to drink water from the spring and, full of faith, asked to be carried there. When he had been taken up by others' hands and laid in this place, as soon as he drank the water and poured it over his face and head, he deservedly regained his health; although he had been borne there by the hands of others, he returned on his own two feet. He was an inhabitant of this village, but his name has been forgotten.
