At Chinon, a village in Touraine, the church shook while Mass was being celebrated on the day of our Lord's Resurrection. The congregation was terrified and all shouted out that the church was about to collapse about their heads. They broke down the doors and all rushed out in a body. Later on they were decimated by a terrible epidemic.

Latin, p.308 (215)
Cainone vero Toronicum vicum, dum ipso glorioso resurrectionis dominicae die missae caelebrarentur, eclesia contremuit, populusque conterritus a pavore, unam vocem dedit, dicens, quod eclesia caderet, cunctique ab ea, etiam effractis ostiis, per fugam lapsi sunt. Magna post haec lues populum devastavit.
